About the Role:

Based in the CBD close to West Tce, this is a full time role. Reporting to the Management Accountant and in the same officer as the owners and external CFO, this role has the ability to be mentored and supported in relation to their future development.

The Company utilises Assigna as its HRIS and record keeping.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for the delivery of the functions of the office including, but not limited to:

• Run payroll weekly
• Timesheet review
• General office administration and support (e-mails, filing, data entry, typing, office supplies)
• Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable (including collections)
• Credit card and bank reconciliations
• Project administration and assistance to the management team
• Provide any administration support to updating policies and developing Certified Management Systems (Quality, Environment, Health and Safety)
• Maintain excellent communications with all internal and external stakeholders

The successful applicant will:

• have a prior background in a similar role with bookkeeping experience
• confident using Myob or similar products for payroll and invoices
• have experience interpreting awards or agreements in relation to the impact on payroll (to note the company has external HR support however basic understanding viewed favourably)
• have a friendly phone manner with a service focus and exceptional finance administration skills and disciplines
• have a strong attention to detail in reviewing timecards, completing monthly credit card reconciliation and entering supplier invoices with 100% accuracy and on time.
• assist in administering monthly board meetings in relation to preparation of material and taking minutes of actions
• excellent verbal and written communication skills
• store all team employment documentation and policies
• Be highly organised with the ability to prioritise
• An ability to display initiative and work independently
• Accurate with high attention to detail and a proactive approach to your work
• Honest and able to deal with matters confidentially
• Reliable and dependable team player

Experience working with complex rosters (ie fly in / fly out rosters) viewed favourably.
