Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Fitter to join our team in Coimbatore. The ideal candidate should have 1-2 years of experience in fitting and should have completed at least their 10th grade. This is a full-time position that requires working from the office.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– **Assembly of Components:** You will be responsible for assembling various mechanical parts and components according to specifications and blueprints.
– **Installation and Maintenance:** You will install equipment and machinery, ensuring they are properly set up and operational.
– **Repair Work:** Identify and repair defective parts or machinery to ensure efficient functioning.
– **Quality Checks:** Conduct regular quality checks on assembled parts to meet company standards and specifications.
– **Tool Handling:** Safely use and maintain hand tools, power tools, and machinery required for fitting tasks.
– **Documentation:** Keep accurate records of work completed, including repairs and adjustments, to track maintenance and progress.
**Required Skills and Expectations:**
The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. You should be comfortable working with your hands and have knowledge of basic mechanical systems. Good physical stamina is essential, as the job may involve lifting heavy equipment. Candidates must also demonstrate the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals. Communication skills are important for collaborating with team members and reporting to supervisors. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills will be greatly valued in this role.
