Opportunity
DVA is seeking registrations from eligible Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander persons for ongoing and non-ongoing employment with the Department. Non-ongoing opportunities will be offered for a specified term.
Our pre-employment service, Indigenous Skills Talent Acquisition Register (iSTAR), makes it easier for you to work with us as we support you by:
o Applying for jobs in the APS.
o Self-assessing your capabilities against employment level profiles.
o Understanding the job families available in the Department.
The 2021 iSTAR expired on 31 January 2022. Previous applicants who want to continue to receive iSTAR services will need to reapply.
Eligibility:
Candidates must identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person and must be Australian citizens.
Candidates will be required to undertake a pre-employment process.
