Greenwood Academies Trust Hiring for Finance Officer Job at Skegness, England Full Time

Salary: £22,183 – £27,041 FTE (£8,169 – £9,958 pro rata)

We are looking for a Finance Officer to join our Lincolnshire-based Regional Finance Team on a 6 month, fixed term basis. This role has the possibility to be extended further after the initial 6 month period.

The role:

As part of the Regional Finance Team, you provide finance and general office support to the Regional Finance Manager, who has responsibility for the day to day running of the finances for a number of GAT academies within the Lincolnshire region. Due to the current pandemic, this role will be primarily remote working.

In this role you will be expected to undertake the following duties:

• Day to day administering of financial and accounting processes.
• Assist in the monthly close processes, for example, by collating the required reports for the month-end file and performing control account reconciliations.
• Become skilled in the operation of the finance system, for example, to perform basic processes, transaction analysis and production of reports

We are looking for someone AAT qualified, or equivalent, or qualified by experience who is able to work effectively both individually and as part of a wider team. Experience using PS Financials would be advantageous.
