Job Title: Talent Attraction and Employer Branding Manager

Location: Working from home with some travel to various BCA UK sites as and when required

Salary: up to £50,000 dependent on experience + car allowance + bonus + benefits

Working Hours: 40 hours per week Monday – Friday

Job Status: Permanent

These brands include, We Buy Any Car, cinch and BCA. This role will be working directly with BCA UK and cinch in the People Team, as part of the Talent Acquisition team. Established for over 60 years, BCA is the market leader in vehicle auctions and remarketing throughout mainland Europe and the UK.

Role Information:

This exciting new role will support the development and delivery of our attraction strategy and employer brand for BCA UK and cinch. You will create innovative resourcing strategies using technology and social media to support the business priorities. This role will focus on analysing and interpreting internal and external market data and insight to help shape our future talent decisions. Working closely with the Talent Acquisition team to support in the attraction of passive candidates for them to build talent pools to support our growth plans. A big priority will be embedding our newly defined employer brand through the development of our careers websites and shaping external perception in the market of BCA UK and cinch.

Role Accountabilities:

• Own and manage our EVP and support with the development of our employer brands for both BCA UK and cinch.

• Manage the relationship with Employer Branding providers currently engaged as part of the communication and roll out plan.

• Support in the development and delivery of a diverse and inclusive attraction strategy working in collaboration with the TA Leader and TA Managers including sourcing techniques and channels to engage wider communities.

• Understand our strategic talent requirements, the external market and talent landscape supporting the TA Team with localised attraction strategies, including attending recruitment fairs and presenting at local schools/colleges.

• Keeping up to date with external market knowledge to support future talent pools and liaising with third parties such as outplacement support providers.

• Help to shape search strategies to support the TA team to remain efficient and focused in their sourcing approach, utilising external networks and sharing best practice with the wider team and key stakeholders.

• Influence and educate the business around the benefits of a social media strategy.

• Work in partnership with the wider marketing and PR teams to develop, create and manage our social media presence.

• Managing and reporting on our Glassdoor and Indeed review sites for cinch and BCA UK, responding to all reviews and actively encouraging new reviews at appropriate employee milestones, etc.

• Ensure our ‘tone of voice’ is consistent for the different business areas by creating advert templates and toolkits for hiring managers, evolving into presenting best practice to line managers in the future.

• Manage our new careers websites, collaborating with the marketing team for any future enhancements.

• Support the TA lead with the launch of the new people system’s TA elements to support the best candidate experience.

Impact and Influence:

• Produce monthly management information to share with the TA team and wider stakeholders reporting on advertising results, impact and recommendations for future investment.

• Make continuous improvements and enhancements based on evaluation and feedback from social media platforms, careers website and stakeholders.

• Influence sourcing decisions and how we approach the market based on insight gained through researching market and talent insights.

• Influence stakeholders regarding local market insight around skill shortages, candidate requirements, etc.

Knowledge and Experience:

Essential skills:

• Confident communicator able to build strong networks and influence others

• Marketing mind set with a background in TA/recruitment

• Confident with HR and Applicant Tracking Systems

• Competent IT skills including Excel reporting and use of social media platforms

-Excellent written language skills – copywriting using tone of voice and brand

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to effectively prioritise

• Confident in managing complex projects and working to deadlines

Desirable skills

• Experience in designing and/or implementing employer brand into organisations

Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to have a driving license and the ability to travel across our UK sites as required.
