Canstar’s finance team are responsible for managing incoming and outgoing cashflow as well as complex commercial and financial modelling. As a Graduate Accountant, you’ll be responsible for the day to day data entry, accounts receivable and reconciliation of various finance functions which support the vision and strategic objectives of Canstar.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Prepare first of the month invoices for distribution to teams and forwarding to clients
• Maintain the standing invoice system
• Manage all accounts receivable receipts
• Prepare manual & digital invoices for review by respective sales team member prior to sending to clients
• Apply receipts to client accounts & run aged debtors reports
• Reconcile the trade debtors subsidiary ledger to the general ledger each month
• Manage all month end tasks
• Prepare weekly revenue reporting (short form and full suite)
• Assist with revenue modelling and budgeting

What You Need To Bring To The Role:

• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word skills
• Comfortable learning and utilising new technologies/software programs
• Comfortable taking on the responsibility for managing multiple clients and deadlines
• Strong track record of delivering high quality work in a fast-paced environment

What Will Give You The Extra Edge:

• Previous experience working as a Finance Officer
• Experience using a general ledger system (MYOB or equivalent)
