Job Summary:
The Education and Outreach Coordinator will be tasked with a variety of activities with the primary goals of advancing inclusion efforts and ensuring AAP’s connectedness within the community. This position will coordinate multiple opportunities for individuals and families to experience diverse enrichment activities on an annual basis. The Coordinator will lead education efforts to increase community knowledge about autism, inclusive practices, and
AAP. The Coordinator will create and strengthen collaborations with partners, maintain knowledge of resources for the autism community, and help to identify needs and opportunities for the organization.

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Public Health, Social Work, or related field. Two+ years serving the needs of the autism community. Experience working with individuals from diverse social, economic, ethnic, academic, and cultural backgrounds valued.
Complexity/Diversity of work:
This position involves a wide array of tasks and activities required to promote the work and mission of Autism Action Partnership. The position requires a highly motivated individual, with strong communication and writing skills and the ability to create content that resonates with an intended audience. The Coordinator must show an ability represent AAP in a manner that instills hope, trust and inspiration among members of both the autism community and the non-autism community. This position requires high levels or organization and relationship management. This position will have frequent contact with all members of the AAP team, external agencies, individuals and families served by AAP, and the general community.
