Penguin Recruitment Looking for Geotechnical Engineer – North Yorkshire at North Yorkshire Full Time

We have a new position available for a Geotechnical Engineer to join a leading consultancy in North Yorkshire. Due to major project wins, my award winning client is seeking an engineer to support Ground investigation projects throughout England.

The successful applicant will gain fantastic practical experience supporting intrusive ground investigations whilst applying theoretical knowledge during the interpretation phases.

We are looking for candidates with an excellent academic background, preferred subject areas include Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Geology.

Reporting to the project managers and site directors, your role will entail Phase 1 research, phase 2 site investigation, monitoring, preparation of data reports, managing on site equipment, report writing, data analysis, sample collection and interpretation of results.

Suitable candidates will demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a team.
