City and Islington College (CANDI) are currently recruiting a motivated Teaching Improvement Manager to become part of a dynamic inclusive team and play a key part in supporting all teachers to improve their practice through coaching, mentoring, and delivering continued professional development. The successful Teaching Improvement Manager will be responsible to coach, mentor and support individual teachers as well as create and deliver training sessions locally and at cross-college professional development days. This requirement suits a Teaching Improvement Manager that is focused on helping their peers with best practice.

This role will provide support in improving Teaching, Learning and Assessment across CANDI, and support the Post Inspection Action Plan PIAP to improve the Ofsted outcome. You will be passionate about inclusion and motivated to help develop reliable and robust systems to ensure our learners and teachers have the very best chance of success. The Teaching Improvement Manager is expected to provide innovation in developing new ways of learning whilst exploiting emerging technologies and will be granted full support by the Head of Teaching and Learning, as well as resources to be fully successful in the role.

You must:

• Have a Teaching Qualification at Level 5 or above.

• Have at least 2 years successful teaching experience in an FE environment.

• Experience of ongoing CPD and evidence of reflective practice.

• Have evidence of your own practice and experience in supporting colleagues in their professional development
