This role will design, develop and maintain software applications that are useable, robust and scalable. You will implement best practice design and user experience, ensuring that the software meets both functional and non-functional requirement of Telstra Health and its customers.

• Produce secure, high performance, maintainable code using industry best practices.
• Participating in the entire software development lifecycle from the concept state through to release
• Working with QA, BA, developers and UX to ensure development quality is maintained at the highest standard
• Providing technical solutions in terms of code, design and industry best practices to ensure a quality product
• Documenting technical designs to enable stakeholders and governance teams to review and endorse solutions being implemented
• Keeping abreast of new technology and considering using it where appropriate
• Collaborating with all members of an Agile Development Team
• Producing secure, high performance, maintainable code using industry best practices

Required skills and experience:

• Min 3+ years’ experience in software development, including exposure to all facets of the SDLC.
• Clear understanding and experience of working in Agile Software development setting
• Experience with in development of web applications using Java, Spring, JDBC, SQL is must
• Good to have Hibernate, HTML 5, and CSS/SCSS knowledge.
• Good to have of front end development using modern frameworks such as Angular 8, React, JavaScript
• Hands-On experience in database development under Microsoft SQL Server
• Hands-On experience in writing Stored procedures
• Hands-On experience using unit testing frameworks
• Good understanding of REST API interfaces
• Good understanding in any front-end development frameworks such as Angular 8, React, JavaScript
• Knowledge of Accessibility & Usability Issues
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment
