Job Summary

The pattern maker will work closely with the technical and production teams to ensure pattern and sample accuracy starting from fit development to production.

Examples of Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ability to sew and create new patterns.
• Ability to grade, correct, digitize, and confirm final production patterns.
• Check fit approval with provided overseas patterns.
• Ability to communicate with vendors and email pattern files.
• Ability to suggest garment construction improvements.
• Work closely with technical team & VP of Production to trouble shoot.
• Ability to make adjustments to patterns after fittings

Qualifications

• 10+ years of pattern & sample making
• Experience in working with overseas factories
• Extensive knowledge in fabric shrinkage and overseas pattern issues
• Ability to follow instructions and fit comments from fittings
• Detail oriented
• Experience in Apparel manufacturing
• Computer experience in Outlook, Word and Excel
• Excellent communication/verbal skills
• Proficient with pattern computer program (Tuka and Gerber)
• Ability to grade patterns
