To support our growth, we are seeking a Finance Analyst, to join our Group Technology team. We are looking for people who wear their high vis on the inside.

About the Role

As the Finance Analyst, you will report to the Group Manager Technology, Governance & Risk at our Pier street office supporting the Group Technology function through effective financial management practices.

This role oversees the financial health of Group Technology, supporting the leadership team by developing and leading cost optimisation activities that enable delivery of successful outcomes. The role is also responsible for preparation and authentication of all financial documents and budgets and the optimal performance of the annual budget, including month end activities, reporting and forecasting, and ongoing financial health activities at the transactional level.

Key Requirements

• 7-10 years of experience in a finance function, preferably in a technology environment.
• CA/CPA Qualified (essential); tertiary qualification.
• Proven experience in budget management
• Strong knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and functionality.
• Experience in internal and external financial audits.
• Experience in mining / resources will be highly regarded but not essential
