Kicktag Web Solutions Ltd is seeking a Junior Software Developer who is excited to contribute to our mission. Kicktag was founded in 2011 with the original focus being on self-serve dashboard and data visualisation software for the market research industry. This was built on the Kicktag Cosmos Platform, which was developed in response to the challenges of survey metadata and complex questionnaire logic in longitudinal data tracking projects. Cosmos has been continually developed over the last 10 years in order to meet the ever changing requirements of dashboard projects, and to support a wider range of survey and assessment types and client sectors.
Current priorities within Kicktag are focussed on converting the “do it for you (DIFY)” Cosmos platform into a more scalable DIY surveys platform, creating re-usable survey domains with productised reporting environments available through a variety of license packages.
As a junior developer you will join as additional support on projects, requiring the ability to read, understand, and potentially build upon, legacy code and also aid with the new development on the Kicktag Surveys platform. Strong communication skills are critical as we work closely with clients who have differing levels of technical understanding so tailoring language to suit the room is essential. A typical “day in the role” will consist of jumping between C# and MSSQL, using issue tracking tools to work through open tasks and communicating with clients progress updates.
Working for Kicktag will give you the opportunity to develop your programming skills, get exposure to all elements of the software development life cycle, and work with clients from a variety of different industries, located all over the world.
