We are currently looking for a motivated and dynamic HR professional with operational support skills to join our Brisbane team. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to work with and gain exposure to multiple functions within HR, whilst developing HR administration experience.

We offer a full-time permanent position (option to work 30 hours per week) with a hybrid work arrangement.

• You are a natural communicator who expresses themselves confidently with an ability to confidently prepare HR documentation or templates.
• You are an organiser and have great time management skills.

Duties and Key Responsibilities

• Assist with administrative tasks to support the HR & Support team.
• Assist with maintenance of HR systems.
• Support the updating of HR pages on the intranet.
• Support recruitment processes, including booking interviews and conducting reference checks, onboarding and inductions.
• Ability to liaise with external providers.
• Participate and contribute to key processes, and organisational projects.
• Identify process improvement opportunities, and assist in the development of solutions to continuously improve data quality and service.
• Actively engage in relevant meetings and sessions, to understand the business and sector.

To be successful in this role you will ideally have:

• Human Resource Management Degree (or relevant field) or equivalent industry experience.
• Understanding of HR administration processes, or experience advantageous.
• Excellent organisational skills and demonstrated high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to liaise with external service providers.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Powerpoint.
• Knowledge of Sharepoint and other systems, including SEEK, highly desirable.
• Ability to undertake research and use critical thinking skills.
• Ability to influence, coach and engage internal stakeholders.
• Exposure to employment law principles and Fair Work Australia legislation.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of the HR support team and with stakeholders.
