Compensation Minimum:$77,000

Compensation Maximum:$150,000

Works within Finance and across functional partners at Homesite and the American Family Enterprise companies to provide insight through profit & growth reporting at an overall and segment level. Produces and enhances Segment P&L tool on a monthly basis to support economic analysis of profit & growth for Homesite as well as the Property Center of Excellence across the American Family Enterprise, inclusive of American Family, CONNECT Auto & Home, and Main Street America. Leads quarterly P&C industry reporting and analysis for management consumption. Participates in frequent ad hoc analysis and special projects.

Primary Accountabilities

• Leads segment economic analysis efforts as a part of the Internal Reporting work stream, including owning the Segment P&L tool and its use in segment profitability and growth analysis.
• Establishes and enhances reporting to provide analytical insight into strategy execution based on segment performance.
• Assists in the overall planning and forecasting process collaborating and communicating with functions across the organization and enterprise.
• Assists in the process of preparation of internal management reporting on segment and product levels for presentation to senior management on a regular (monthly) basis
• Contributes to the ongoing efforts to enhance financial modeling to drive decision making.
• Collaborates across the enterprise to consolidate data and align financial reporting for the Property Center of Excellence in partnership with Product COE leaders.
• Leads frequent Ad Hoc analysis and special projects, including Cost Benefit Analyses for management decision-making.

Skills & Knowledge

• BS/BA degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA preferred
• 5+ years total work experience, with a focus in FP&A and industry experience
• Understand accounting fundamentals and financial statements
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrates experience providing leadership and mentoring of others while managing complex projects and priorities.
• Demonstrates experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and within a team and take on new tasks as needed
• Expert-level MS Excel skills or other data manipulation software (Tableau)
• Expert-level MS PowerPoint skills
