Job Position: Day Shift Machine Operator (Full Time Position)

Our facility houses state-of-the-art equipment to produce millions of respirators every month. Vitacore is committed to serving Canadians. We are growing and hiring machine operators to run our automated machinery, change material rolls, troubleshoot jams, and inspect the final product. Our South Burnaby plant is located near Marine Way and has ample parking available.

Job Details:
Machine Operator – Day Shift (Mon-Thurs)

Wage: $22/hr

Schedule: (Mon to Thurs Day Shift).

Shift Hours:
The role is a regular full-time position for 10 hours 4 days a week shift.

Monday through Thursday: 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. – includes a 30-minute paid break

Full benefits after successful completion of a 3-month probation period.

Responsibilities include:
Follow Team Leader instructions and company procedures.

Inspect components and materials.

Attend to details, ensuring safe work practices.

Other duties as required.

Skills and Qualifications:
Experience in a manufacturing environment.

Mechanical aptitude, able to quickly learn new tasks.

Physically able to sit, stand, walk, bend, etc., and able to occasionally lift or move up to 40 pounds.

Manual dexterity and visual abilities for close-up detailed work and color distinctions.

Strong attention to detail.

Level 1 first aid would be an asset.

Speaking, reading, and comprehension skills.
