About the role
As the Assistant Accountant, you will provide support to the Finance team at Calvary Retirement Communities and provide assistance with financial accounting related deliverables.
Whilst delivering support to the Finance team, the role will help with with periodic reporting and assist with month end, bank reconciliation, financial analysis, statutory compliance and administrative support to the wider finance team.
The Assistant Accountant will provide support to CRC related projects and comply with internal and external auditing principals ensuring accuracy and periodic timelines are met.
We are currently seeking an Assistant Accountant for our Cardiff office on a Full Time, 12 month Maximum Term Contract.
  • This position is based at our Shared Services Office in Cardiff, with the possibilty of a Flexible Work Arrangement to work between the office and home for the right candidate.


What you bring
  • Experience in a Financial Accounting role
  • Completion/near completion of commerce or related business degree
  • Understanding of relevant Australian accounting and auditing standards
  • Current COVID-19 Vaccinations and Influenza Immunisation
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
