Position Summary*

Reporting to the Manager, Data Services, we are looking for a tenured Data Analyst to join our team on a 6 month contract! The ideal candidate will be responsible for importing client data into the ACP and the building of packages to load data into the clients ACP. The ideal candidate is highly organized, impeccable attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills and most importantly a great team player! Although you will be working remotely, by no means will you be left to your own devices; we will provide you with all the tools, training, and support you could ever need to succeed – and we want nothing more than for you to be as successful as possible!

Key Requirements and Responsibilities

• Build the appropriate SSIS package to load the data to the client database
• Provide reporting to CS Team as required either using office tools or SSRS
• Provide support to migration of data between client systems and the Assent Master database
• Analyze and cleanse incoming and existing data
• Provide data support to other divisions of Assent including Sales, Marketing and Professional Services
• Follow guidance set out by corporate security policies and standards

Your Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English – you communicate clearly, concisely and with tact;
• University/ College and/ or Post Graduate Certificate in Computer Science or Engineering (preferred)
• 3+ years of experience in analyzing data with strong database SQL/ Procedural SQL development
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server and SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) as well as data migration/ conversion and ETL experience
• Experience creating reports with SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services)
• Experience with various data formats: XML, CSV, RDBMS and other apps such as CRM and public databases
• You are proficient in the use of MS Office Suite and Google applications and other Office Productivity tools
• You are a strong team player and always willing to lend a helping hand and share your knowledge
• You are diligent and detail oriented as well as a strong critical thinker who can suggest, implement and find ways to do things differently and more efficiently
