Owned and run by the Hemmes family for over 60 years, Merivale began as a fashion house that catapulted Sydney into the swinging-sixties for all things music and fashion. With a knack for creativity, “The House of Merivale” injected a new energy into the theatre of Sydney transforming the brand to what we know now as one of the largest leading hospitality empires in Australia.

Remaining true to our heritage, our aim is to bring a little magic into the everyday. We are constantly growing and pushing the boundaries in over 80+ venues to encapsulate a unique dining experience no matter where you go. Each space is carefully executed with the same attention to detail across a seemingly endless supply of inspired concepts, restaurants, bars, cafes, pubs, nightlife and retail.

The Role
Due to growth, we are in search of a Talent Partner to join us in a growing team that manages all recruitment for 80+ unique Merivale venues across Australia.

In this fast paced and rapidly changing environment your focus will be working with venue teams to navigate priorities, timelines and resource requirements for all venues as well as managing end to end recruitment for all venue management.

On any given day you will be posting jobs ads, screening candidates (both over the phone and face to face), facilitating group interviews, scheduling trials and partnering with our leadership team on creative ways to attract great people to our business.

Your success will come from quickly establishing relationships with key stakeholders, understanding our business and the nuances of recruitment across different venues and departments. You will also understand the priorities of the overall People Plan as it relates to Talent Acquisition.

You are a senior hospitality professional or a skilled recruiter looking for a new and exciting challenge. With a track record in successfully managing large recruitment volumes, you are proactive, solution focused and have exceptional communication skills. Previous experience in hospitality either as a recruiter or working in operations is highly desirable but not essential.
