About the Role

SoftLabs is seeking an experienced QA Manager to join their Technology Consulting for Canberra.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Plan organise and monitor deliverables to ensure quality program outcomes
• Conduct quality assurance audits of complex project activities, compliance, security, software standards, documents and artefacts
• Evaluate and identify non-compliances with relevant standards, guidelines and specifications and determine whether appropriate quality controls have been applied
• Report QA findings and determines the risks associated with those findings and ensures that corrective actions are carried out

Essential Skills and Experience

• Work with the Delivery team and build vendor to advise on, communicate and implement an appropriate quality management process for system development in a hybrid project management environment
• Plan, organise and conduct quality assurance audits of complex project activities, compliance, security, software standards, documents and artefacts, system testing, build and release QA
• Evaluate and identify non-compliances with relevant standards, guidelines and specifications and determine the underlying reasons for non-compliance and whether appropriate quality controls have been applied
• Prepare and report QA findings, determine the risks associated with those findings, identify appropriate owners for corrective actions, and ensure that corrective actions are carried out
