Garner Construction Inc WBE Hiring for Senior Bookkeeper Job at Remote Full Time

We are a Seattle based Commercial Construction contractor. We are seeking a candidate with the ability to complete all Bookkeeping functions. The ideal applicant will also have experience with job costing, evaluating bid proposals, processing progress billings, and calculation and payment of Union Fringe Benefits.

Garner will provide ;

Duties will include, but may not be limited to:

• Manage all Bookkeeping functions and procedures
• General Ledger Journal Entries and reconciliations
• Financial Statement Preparation including Month End and Year End Close
• Weekly Payroll Processing using third-party vendor.
• Monthly Bank Reconciliations, preparation of Borrowing Base certificates and general banking procedures. AP and AR
• Union reporting and compliance
• Prepare Monthly Progress Billings
• Monthly Job Cost Analysis
• Prepare Monthly/Quarterly City and State tax filings for multiple cities and states
• Prepare Quarterly estimated Federal Tax payments
• Assist in evaluating accuracy of Bid Proposals
• Maintain compliance with Insurance requirements and perform policy audits.

Requirements: * 5 years of general Bookkeeping experience.

• 5 years Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise expertise highly preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
