The Role
As Head of Computer Science, you will lead the department and drive high standards of teaching, learning, and student outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading and managing the Computer Science department
* Developing and implementing an engaging and ambitious curriculum
* Raising attainment and progress across Key Stages 3-5
* Supporting and developing teaching staff within the department
* Monitoring performance and ensuring high-quality teaching and learning
* Promoting digital literacy and computing across the wider school
What we’re looking for
* A qualified teacher with strong subject knowledge in Computer Science
* Proven experience teaching at secondary level
* Experience in a leadership role or readiness to step into a Head of Computer Science position
* A track record of strong student outcomes
* Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills
* A passion for inspiring the next generation in computing and technology
