Job Description

This role operates within a food production environment to support machine operator, packaging, labeling, and quality checks while following detailed work orders and production procedures. The position requires attention to detail, the ability to cross-train across multiple stations, and a strong focus on safety and product quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate and assist with machinery involved in the milling and bagging of products.
• Load and unload machines while monitoring performance.
• Build, label, and wrap boxes to prepare products for shipment.
• Inspect products, pouches, and boxes before shipment to ensure they meet quality and labeling standards.
• Assist with production paperwork, including tracking counts, orders, and other required documentation.
• Work on general production and general labor tasks as needed, including packing and material handling.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety guidelines throughout all production activities.
• Adapt to cross-training opportunities to support different areas of the production line as needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Approximately 6+ months of production experience preferred.
• Experience with labeling, packing, and general production labor.
• Ability to cross-train.

Work Environment

1st shift from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

2nd shift from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Will wear full ppe in a cleanroom environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vista, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 – $22.00/hr.
