An opportunity has become available for a passionate and hardworking Accounts Officer to join their team on the Gold Coast. This position will require a high level of attention to detail, strong communication skills and the ability to work in a high-volume environment. Your new role

Reporting to the finance manager, you will be accountable for the entire accounts function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and reconciliations. You will guarantee the timely compilation and accurate processing of all account’s areas. Your duties include but are not limited too;

• Financial and administrative tasks
• Handle accounts payable processes, such as invoices, payments, and reconciliations
• Respond to all enquires
• Handle accounts receivable processes, customer payments, invoicing, debt collection
• Ensure reporting requirements are met, including monthly BAS returns, Payroll taxes, PAYG Taxes
• Bank Reconciliation’s

What you’ll need to succeed

To be successful for this role, you will have proven experience operating as an Accounts Officer within a fast-paced, busy organisation. You will have a high work ethic, attention to detail, and problem analysis and resolution skills. You will need strong experience with Microsoft Office, excellent communication and time management skills. Experience with Tune accounting software would be beneficial.
