We are looking to recruit a number of dynamic and proactive Teaching Assistants to join our Support for Learning Team due to the rise of pupil numbers. This role would be ideal for those with experience of working with young people with ASD, physical disabilities and those who are ELSA trained (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant)
Applications are open for a motivated Teaching Assistant to work with students across our successful secondary school and sixth form. The successful candidate will work in lessons with individuals or small groups of students to support their learning, well-being and independence. The role requires the appointed to work with students displaying a broad range of special educational needs and those who require support with numeracy and literacy. There may be an opportunity to specialise in specific areas for candidates with relevant experience and qualifications. One-to-one roles are also available working specifically with individuals who have more complex needs. Fluency in Spanish would also be an advantage.
We are looking for enthusiastic and committed individuals with an ability to adapt to meet the needs of our students. Applicants require positive behaviour management and communication skills, the ability to remain calm, excellent literacy and numeracy and an attention to detail.
