We are currently seeking a Finance Assistant to be based at our Enfield Head Office.
This role will be reporting into the Financial Controller within the Finance department; however, this will be a widely dynamic position providing assistance to different areas within finance as well as supporting the Senior Management team.
Performing the following duties across the different finance functions:
Invoice Query Resolution
· Managing the customer queries daily, so that the KPI of 5 days in maintained
· Liaise and negotiate with both the business and customers to achieve a speedy, but commercial resolution to the query
· Provide MI on a daily / Weekly basis against the KPI
· Raise credit notes and post to the system
· Adhoc duties
Management Accounts
· Processing Expenses
· Processing daily payments and posting into the accounting software
· Bank reconciliations
· Completing Government ONS Surveys
· Willingly perform ad hoc duties as required
Fleet
· Raising Customer sales/insurance Invoices
· Raising Purchase Orders for capex items
· Goods Receipting Orders
· Adjusting Fleet statues within the operating system
· Assisting with the DVLA account and weekly reconciliation
· Reconciling the Fleet tracking systems weekly
· Reconciling the Fleet Insurance weekly
· Dealing with PCN’s
· Uploading Fleet documentation into the operating system
· Willingly perform ad hoc duties as required
Essential
· Higher education at either A-Level or Degree Level, preferably within a financial or business context
· Seeking to study towards an Accounting Qualification
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Advanced Excel skills
· Good understanding of MS packages
· Excellent level of accuracy and attention to detail
· Ability to work as part of a wide and dynamic team
· Confident, professional, and outgoing personality
· High level of self- motivation and commitment
· Ability to work to tight deadlines and specified standards
· Strong prioritisation skills
Desirable
· Competent in software packages such as InspHire, Access Dimensions and Moorepay
· Previous administration experience
