THE GIG

W Brisbane invites you to own the moment and ignite your career by applying for our Finance Officer/ Auditor role. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will support them in implementing new projects and strategies in all areas across the hotel. The Finance Officer/ Auditor will be a key player in the Department with a proven track record in a similar role. You will be responsible for;

• Completing and compiling documentation for controller’s audits on a monthly basis
• Driving compliance culture within the hotel across operational departments
• Proactively conduct surprise checks, audit documentation across all areas of the hotel to ensure compliance with standard and local operating procedures
• Support with month end closing process, reconciling balance sheet and ensuring account balances are supported by appropriate documentation in accordance with SOPs
