We are expanding our Financial Planning & Analysis team and are seeking an Assistant Business Analyst ton experienced Financial Accountant to join our Northgate team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Financial Financial Planning & Analysis ManagerController, you will support the team by providing analytical support to the business with a focus on monthly Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow forecasts, annual budgeting, monthly reporting, business partnering and ad hoc analysis. provide accurate and timely information of month end variance commentary and balance sheet validation.

Your responsibilities will include –

• Provision of accurate and timely customer and supplier data reporting.
• Daily reporting of sales versus target to senior management and the wider business.
• Generating monthly KPI reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
• Customer sales variance reporting and maintenance of customer reporting data.
• Focal point for BI tools including creating dashboards, training new starters, and ensuring employees and suppliers have the correct access.
• Assistance with budgets and forecasts.
• Data support for sales, purchasing and warehouse teams.
• Detailed sales product reporting including therapeutic index variance reporting.
• End of month preparation including journals, accruals and balance sheet reconciliations including commentary.
• Maintaining accuracy of the general ledger.
• Provide Profit & Loss month end analysis.
• Preparation of corporate tax calculations for review by the Finance Director and liaise with external tax advisors on the completion of annual income tax returns.
• Preparation of quarterly and annual tax packages required for US reporting purposes including liaising with our US tax team.
• Preparation of annual FBT and other indirect tax returns as required.
• Assisting with SOX compliance.
• Assisting with various projects and business improvement initiatives.

About You

Ideally you will display –

• Recently completed Ttertiary qualifications in Accounting/Commerce. coupled with CA/CPA qualifications (or working towards).
• Demonstrated up to twothree years experience within an accounting related role large, commercial environment or a business services environment with tax experience.
• Advanced skills in MS Excel.
• Sound business analysis skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Well developedWell-developed interpersonal skills with an ability to adapt your communication to suit different internal stakeholders.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise your work in an agile way.

• A positive, proactive attitude with a focus on seeking out continuous improvement opportunities.
