Your role at a glance

As a software tester, working under the direction of our Test Manager, you will work within a team of other talented people testing innovative and challenging solutions as part of an agile squad.

What you’ll be doing

• Producing, maintaining and improving testing plans and test cases
• Analysing test output and producing test reports
• Testing the solutions delivered by the development team for accessibility, usability and inclusion
• Identifying, reporting and tracking the resolution of defects
• Communicating testing methodologies and strategy to the wider team

What we’re looking for

• Attention to detail – to identify issues and bugs, including those that aren’t quite so obvious
• Analytical skills – to collect information, categorise data, review results to identify patterns and trends
• STQB (or similar) certification or progress towards a recognised qualification in software testing would be beneficial.
• Experience of working with test automation tools.
• Experience of markup and programming languages such as JavaScript/Node.js, HTML & CSS.
• Ability to work with medium to large volumes of data, performing calculations and formatting the data for various systems.
• Experience with Agile project delivery methodologies.
• An eagerness to learn and adapt to new practices and tools.
• Documentation, analysis and reporting
• Ability to manage test scripts through tools such as Git or SVN
