We are looking for an accountant to primarily be responsible for data entry and general maintenance of payroll, personnel and accounts payable/receivable.

Responsibilities:

• Enter invoices and expenses into franchise and GL system
• Process all check disbursements including maintaining ACH profiles and transactions
• Prepare and perform daily deposits
• Prepare payroll and enter new hire data
• Assist IT contractor with maintaining computer system in accounting and operations
• Order inventory
• Coordinate and assist Director of Marketing with company logos and special events
• Assist Controller, as necessary including processing 1099 forms

Skills

• Work experience as an Accountant
• Hands-on experience with accounting software like Sage 50
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
• Experience with general ledger functions
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
• 2-year accounting degree preferred
• Notary Public is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
