As a Head of People and Culture, you will have responsibility for managing the overall provision of human resources services, policies and programs for the company.
This will include providing guidance to the business as it continues to internationalize, developing and implementing fit-for-purpose human resource systems, managing the recruitment strategy, and providing human resources service to the company’s operations.
And most of all ensuring they have a happy and motivated workforce 🙂

This includes:

• Lead People and Culture function within the business
• Develop employee relation strategy in terms of employment contracts, workforce planning and management across the multiple countries
• Labour forecasting – ensure the business has the right number of people with the right skills
• Create a seamless onboarding & offboarding experience
• Ensure statutory requirements are met: WHS, workers compensation, return to work
• Experience in managing a geographically spread team across different time zones.
• Assess and review individual and team performance, training & career development plans, skills and capabilities.
• Conduct performance and salary reviews while proactively managing performance
• Provide timely recommendations to the Managing Director/Executive team to address people-related issues
• Ensure that a cooperative and collaborative culture is encouraged
• Coach managers in their communication, performance management, feedback, recognition, and interaction responsibilities with their employees
• Understand the business objectives and growth goals and develop hiring and retention programs to support this
• Effectively manage employee relations issues
• Design and implement new processes and procedures as required to support scaling and growth

• Up to date Australian employment law knowledge (FWA & NES) including experience of working with multiple modern awards and employee relations matters.
• Demonstrated capability to serve as a knowledgeable resource and advisor to Executive and leadership group
• Demonstrated research, analysis, problem-solving and project management experience
• Experience managing WH&S people-related issues such as rehabilitation and RTW
• Strong conceptual, strategic thinking and analytical skills with the ability to meet deadlines and work with changing priorities
