Rainforest, Ltd. Hiring for Production Coordinator at NYC, New York Full Time

Position Overview: Production Coordinator assist with production processes from the seasonal development to product delivery.

Reports to: Production Manager/ Production Director

Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for tracking and monitoring time and action calendar for all products planned and placed with vendor partners.
• Responsible for approving bulk fabric & trim submits.
• Track and monitor SMSs and TOPs, meeting Time and Action deadlines.
• Create, update and maintain all production PO’s ensuring accuracy and speed as per the buy plans for each category per season.
• Communicate with cross-functional design and sales teams as well as overseas factories.
• Maintain costing accuracy in PLM/Blue Cherry and communicate any changes to Sales & Planning Teams
• Track production deliverables and status to proactively identify issues 
• Responsible for all vendor communication including onboarding new vendors as per company policy.
• Facilitate confirmation of final cost and delivery dates with Brand Director in consultation with Sourcing Director.
• Additional duties that may be determined by management.

Qualifications: 

• 2-4 years’ experience in apparel production and/or product development
• Previous experience with integrated systems including order management and product development modules 
• Ability to plan, manage time, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Able to prioritize and re-prioritize work to meet critical deadlines
• Able to communicate effectively with cross functional partners at various levels in various locations globally
• Able to proactively identify issues, provide creative solution options and work collaboratively to resolve issues 
• Able to maintain office hours guidelines
• Maintain production recap chart and PLM/Blue Cherry

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Related Field
