We are looking for a passionate Nutritionist to join our team in Chennai. This full-time position is suitable for recent graduates or candidates with up to one year of experience in the field of nutrition and dietetics.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– **Assess Nutritional Needs:** Evaluate patients’ dietary habits and health records to determine their nutritional requirements. This helps in crafting personalized dietary plans.
– **Design Meal Plans:** Create customized meal plans that cater to individual health goals, preferences, and restrictions. These meal plans ensure that patients receive balanced nutrition.
– **Provide Nutritional Counseling:** Offer guidance and support to clients on healthy eating habits, lifestyle choices, and dietary modifications. This helps clients make informed choices for improved health.
– **Monitor Progress:** Track clients’ progress on their nutrition plans, making necessary adjustments based on their feedback and health changes. This ensures that the plans are effective.
– **Stay Updated on Nutrition Trends:** Regularly research and stay informed about the latest trends and studies in nutrition. This knowledge enables the Nutritionist to provide the best advice based on current guidelines.
**Required Skills and Expectations:**
Candidates should have a keen interest in nutrition and health sciences, with a strong desire to help others achieve their wellness goals. Excellent communication skills are necessary for interacting with clients and explaining nutrition concepts clearly. A collaborative attitude is important, as you will be working closely with a team. Basic computer skills for documentation and planning are also expected.
