(Senior) Software developer
We are looking for a software development engineer in Azure for Operators CTO office to work on innovative products supporting telecom workloads on Microsoft cloud and edge.
Azure for Operators’ mission is to drive cloudification of telecom workloads. We help our telecom customer to virtualize their assets by designing innovative product that can operate on cloud and cloud-managed environments.
Responsibilities
- Rapidly prototype new technologies
- Design and implement cloud and edge services
- Manage the full DevOps cycle for the services.
- Communicate ideas to wider technical audience.

Qualifications
Required:
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering
- A BS/MSc in technical field or equivalent technical knowledge, and strong software engineering skills
- Experience in some of the following: Python, C#, Go, C++
- Experience working with and developing code on Linux
- Creative and collaborative approach to problem solving
- Adaptable to meet dynamic goals in a very agile team.
- Good communication skills
Preferred, not required:
- Experience with SW development in the cloud and/or microservices
- Working knowledge of virtualization and orchestration technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, KVM)
- Working knowledge of DevOps processes
Ability to meet Microsoft security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
