Job Description
As a Manager at PageGroup you will be responsible for:
Leadership:
- Leading, mentoring and developing the technology recruitment team comprised of both temporary and permanent recruiters
- Be seen as the “centre of excellence” for day to day recruitment issues
- Communicate team vision and goals
- Manage headcount including hiring new consultants
- Manager, consultant feedback, training and development needs
- Training of staff and mapping out their career path
Recruitment:
- Maintaining client contact across the technology database
- Manage the full recruiting lifecycle across a variety of open roles helping clients find, hire, and retain quality talent
- New business development initiatives
- Build mutually beneficial relationships with clients and candidates and work as part of a passionate team to maximise PageGroup’s commercial performance.
- Actively involved in client entertainment, luncheons, seminars, networking forums
- Stay active with current with job boards, social networks, and platforms to find talent, and plan, create, and release job descriptions and announcements
The Successful Applicant
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience working within recruitment (agency or internal) having been a mentor or directly managed staff before
- Desire to join the fasting growing industry (technology) however experience here is not required as our team have collectively 30+ years technical knowledge to upskill
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
- Familiarity with job boards, and HR software, databases, and management systems
- A natural drive to succeed in your personal goals and celebrate the success of the team
- The ability to build relationships with different people and personalities
- The ability to handle adversity and rejection
