CivicActions is a certified vendor of the Digital Information Technology Acquisitions Professional (DITAP) program. The DITAP program teaches federal procurement officers to be ambassadors for procurement modernization. The result is better partnerships with vendors, fewer failed contracts, and faster delivery of value. The program launched in 2018. It operates in cohorts of 20-30 students with each cohort lasting six months. It is a blend of classroom workshops, online webinars, and online self-paced research. The Digital Services Design Educator will primarily support the effort of the DITAP program.

Responsibilities

For this position, we need people that are able to :

• Serve as the subject matter expert in the digital services field and provide current information about emerging digital services trends and best practices
• Prepare curriculum outlines, presentation materials, and in-session activities for live facilitation sessions
• Provide instructional design support as digital services methodology SME to curriculum designers
• Works with curriculum designers to test materials with a small group before classrooms
• Facilitate virtual classroom sessions
• Moderate and engage in topic-based online discussions as a SME
• Serve as primary design coach for the small-group capstone, which asks students to apply digital services methods to resolve government procurement challenges
• Provide support and track progress participants through their Shadowing and Stakeholder assignments
• Debriefs classroom sessions with DITAP team and designers to adjust for next class
• Work well independently and as a member of a collaborative team

Experience

You must have at least 5 years of experience authoring curriculum in the following:

• Agile Methodologies (i.e. Kanban, Scrum)
• Lean Start-up
• Human-centered Design (HCD)
• Digital Services & Digital Acquisitions

Experience in federal government procurement processes is a plus!

Preferred Qualifications

• FAC-C Level I, II
• Scrum Master CSM, SAFe SM

Location

We are a completely remote team within the United States. We ask that you have a dedicated work space, computer and fast internet.

Salary Range

$90,000 – $110,000 annual salary

Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience
