Accufile, Inc Hiring for LAW LIBRARIAN – PART-TIME – BOSTON Job at Boston, MA Full Time

Accufile, the market leader in on-site and virtual information and research management solutions is seeking an on-site, part-time law librarian for 15-20 hours a week. The right candidate will be an experienced Law Librarian looking for a permanent, part-time position.

Position responsibilities:

• Provide legal and business research services to attorneys and staff.
• Set up alerts for staff to provide current awareness.
• Manage all areas of the firm’s collection.
• Provide library outreach, training and orientation programs to attorneys and staff.
• Library administrative functions to include monitoring vendor contracts managing library annual budget, reports, and acquisitions.
• Maintain library memberships and passwords.
• Library operational functions to include rectifying and processing vendor invoices payments, interlibrary loan duties, checking in library material in firms’ ILS, maintaining library intranet page, overseeing appropriate staff to perform some daily library duties.
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Required qualifications:

• Master’s degree from an ALA accredited school of information or library science
• 3+ years of law library experience
• Strong knowledge of integrated library systems, research databases such as Westlaw, Lexis, etc.
• Good oral and written communication skills and ability to think critically and creatively as regards library services
• Organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage diverse projects

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour
