Solomon Page Fashion & Beauty Hiring for SVP OF SOURCING – Men’s and Women’s at New York, New York Full Time

Our client, a multi-million-dollar company holding a portfolio of high-profile brands in the men’s and women’s sector, is seeking an SVP of Sourcing to manage all facets of their global sourcing supply chain. 

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, eliminate, or add vendors to their sourcing partner approved list. 

• Identify proficiencies and create standard procedures for the 3rd party vendors to comply with. 

• Manage 6-8 VP’s across offices in NY and California.

• Set expectations of timely deliveries, calendar, quality initiatives, QA analysis, protocol, and solutions. 

• Oversee capacity planning by region, country, and vendor.

• Make commitments to raw materials and allocate production to preserve production space. 

• Communicate with all internal and external partners/customers.

• Travel overseas as needed to factories for meetings and tradeshows.

Experience 

• Bachelor’s degree

• 15+ years of experience in Global Sourcing

• Technical knowledge and vocabulary to work across all fabrications, construction, categories

• Fine-tuned negotiation skills

• Previous experience with transformation and standard operating procedures (SOPs)

• Relationship builder and retainer 

• Proficient in Microsoft Office
