The Early Childhood Educator (internally know as Early Childhood Officer) contributes to the provision of a quality education and care program, as part of the childhood educator team, which meets the needs of the children attending the Children’s Centre and the requirements of the Early Learning Framework. The role implements developmentally appropriate programs for individuals and groups of children, maintains a safe and healthy environment and contributes to the overall procedures of the campus-based Children’s Centre.
Within this position, you will play a vital role in the growth of the child’s development. You will be working alongside Centre staff/educators to ensure that all regulations, service policies and procedures are implemented. Most importantly, you will be bringing your best self to work, building connections with the children and families to create a fun, joyful and a warm learning environment.
Please note: This centre operates from 8:00am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday.
We have an exciting permanent full-time opportunity available at our Albury Children’s Centre and are seeking an enthusiastic individual who has a strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards (NQS) and a genuine interest in working with children.

The ideal applicant will also possess the following skills and attributes:
Diploma of Early Childhood recognised by Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) and demonstrated experience in early childhood services.
Minimum 12 months experience in early childhood services
A Working with Children Check, National Police Clearance and First Aid qualification that is recognised by ACECQA which includes applying first aid, CPR, emergency asthma management, anaphylaxis and diabetes.
