The Opportunity

This is a tremendous opportunity for an experienced finance leader who is passionate about making a significant and meaningful contribution to BG&E Resources growth and success. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, this role reports directly to the Managing Director and will provide exceptional leadership to the Accounts, Finance, Payroll and IT functions,

The successful candidate will join BG&E Resources at an exciting time of growth, working closely with key stakeholders to better support our business outcomes and decision making. Your primary focus will be on providing professional and advisory expertise by analysing and ensuring financial sustainability for the long-term success of the company.

Key Objectives

• Responsible for the delivery of all financial and management reporting for the business
• Continuing to drive efficiencies of service including accounts payable, payroll, credit, management and statutory accounting
• Development, implementation and maintenance of financial systems, procedures and strategies; management of reporting systems and metrics that tie into those strategies

About you

To be successful you will be recognised as a forward thinker, with a proven track record in leading and developing financial and corporate strategies based on sound technical skills, analytical ability, and judgment. You will have positively influenced the financial results in similar businesses. You will operate with the utmost integrity and ensure flawless oversight and leadership of accounting, financial, Payroll and ICT policies and related activities. You will exhibit influential and effective interpersonal skills, possess refined emotional intelligence, and have an impressive history of team leadership and transformation. You also must be a full Chartered Accountant or Certified Practising Accountants (CPA).
