Job Summary:

WSM is in search of a self-directed and experienced Sr. Staff Accountant/Controller to oversee all financial, accounting activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for budget management, preparation of monthly financial statements, cash flow forecasting, tax compliance, banking and bank services, and provide oversight of accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions. Additional duties include policy and procedure compliance and 401K compliance. Responsibilities

• Prepare and present accurate monthly financial reports in a timely manner.
• Monitor the financial performance of the company and work with senior management team to improve overall business performance.
• Prepare annual operating budgets and compare monthly actuals to budget.
• Manage banking relationships, banking services, and bank compliance.
• Develop and manage financial controls in accordance with the company’s procedures.
• General tax review and compliance.
• Participate in the development of and support the company’s strategic plans.
• Support CPA firm in review and/or audit of company financials.
• Provide leadership and support to accounts receivable and accounts payable staff.
• Work with Paycom and HR department on payroll and HR Trends.

Skills/requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years accounting experience in a senior accounting or financial management role.
• Strong ERP (Global Shop or similar ERP) and Excel Worksheet skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated and self-directed.
• Ability to work closely with a senior management team – will report to COO and CEO
• Experience in IT a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
