Marco Island Police Department Hiring for Social Media/Public Education Specialist Job at Marco Island, FL Full Time

Are you the go to person of your friends for all things social media? Do you enjoy creating content? Do you thrive working in a fast paced environment? If you answered yes, then this job is for you. We’re looking for a social media/public education specialist to help us build a strong relationship with our community.

You’ll promote law enforcement functions, events, and help assist with crime prevention, and police investigations. You’ll capture activates involving our Patrol, Marine and Beach Units. You’ll also coordinate police promotional events and help develop campaigns designed to educate our community about City code, mitigating crime, and people of interest. This position gives you the opportunity to use your visualization skills through photography and videos. You’ll also work closing with our Public Information Officer to provide information to the media.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $34,000.00 – $52,000.00 per year
