The Infectious Diseases Epidemiology Team is responsible for a range of research projects focused on improving diagnosis and treatment of severe respiratory infections in children, understanding the pathogen-specific, temporal and seasonal trends in respiratory infectious diseases; evaluation of prevention policies, including vaccination policy at local and population levels.
We have an opportunity for a Project Officer who is passionate about child’s health, to focus on developing and supporting projects focused on our Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) program and support us on our mission, to improve the health, development and lives of young people.
The Role
Reporting to the Program Manager, this encompassing role will provide project support to the Team Leads, researchers and staff members to ensure efficient functioning and achievement of project specific goals. along with providing general team support including research output maintenance.

About You
The ideal applicant will be passionate about child’s health and will hold a tertiary qualification in a relevant science or health related field. You will be self-motivated and driven by achieving project outcomes and will thrive working in a fast-paced environment.
