As a DCL Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will join a highly collaborative team located in Celebration, Florida. You will serve as an integral point of contact in shaping the professional recruitment candidate experience and will assist with day-to-day recruitment functions supporting Disney Cruise Line (shore side), Adventures by Disney and National Geographic Expeditions. Throughout your work, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth of three dynamic businesses and create and maintain influential relationships throughout all client organizations and key partner groups.

Regarding location for this temporary assignment, you can be based in Florida, southern California or remote.

You will report to: Sr. Mgr-DCL Recruitment.

Responsibilities:

• Focus on enhancing the professional candidate experience while also identifying and solving gaps in the recruitment process that is aimed at delivering operational excellence to the organization
• Collaborate with multiple Recruiters to support the full life cycle professional recruitment process; post jobs on our career site, schedule complex virtual interviews (phone and video) with hiring leaders, drive interview logistics and travel for onsite interviews when needed, and support the pre-hire and onboarding of new hires
• Perform resume screening for a variety of operational professional roles from hourly office & technical to entry level salaried roles; assist with candidate pre-screening in the Applicant Tracking System
• Assist Recruiters with leading operational and recruitment sourcing projects
• Manage to hiring deadline dates to ensure candidates are hired within the target timeframe
• Complete technical actions in our applicant tracking system
• Proactively communicating with Recruiter when candidates may be delayed
• Monitor and manage candidates who are completing pre-employment requirements
• Focus on continuous improvement and streamlining of candidate tracking and processing
• Develop relationships with critical business partners including Disney Cruise Line Recruiters, HRBP, DPEP Professional Recruitment and DCL and A&E hiring leaders
• Leverage various systems to proactively maintain data integrity
• Actively participate as a strategic business partner to influence and drive business results
• Support DCL ship/island recruitment if needed
• Assist with special projects as needed

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Human Resources/Talent Acquisition or related support team experience
• Being an ambassador in the candidate experience; ability to think creatively and take initiative to resolve issues to ensure quality experiences for candidates and hiring leaders
• Exhibit necessary technical understanding and capabilities in HR systems and Microsoft software tools
• Diplomacy, strong business acumen, integrity and ability to handle confidential information
• Understanding of reporting and analytical tools such as Excel, Access, SharePoint, etc.
• Demonstrated computer proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint
• Aptitude to quickly learn
• Organized with a strong attention to detail and accuracy; excellent follow-through skills
• Able to be flexible, proactive, highly organized, and able to easily shift priorities
• Taking initiative; being resourceful in hunting for information and unafraid to ask questions
• Able to work independently, with limited or no supervision at times
• Ability to take initiative and build positive and productive personal & professional relationships
• Ability to interact with multiple levels of leadership in a professional manner

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with ATS and HRIS
• Proven experience working in and international environment with international partnerships
• Demonstrated computer proficiency with Access and SQL
