ACCOUNTING MANAGER

GENERAL SUMMARY

The Accounting Manager oversees daily accounting and Financial Reporting functions within a Division of the Company. In some Divisions, the Administration functions also fall under the Controller’s responsibility. The position will report to the Chief Financial Officer. The position manages the following areas of financial management for the Division.

· Accounts Payable

· Accounts Receivable

· General Ledger

· Payroll

· Budgeting

· Financial Policies & Procedures

The role consists of:

• As an operation to provide consistent, accurate and timely performance information to Management on the financial performance of the company.
• To ensure compliance with GAAP in the presentation of financial performance.
• To implement and maintain the internal control procedures articulated by the CFO’s office to provide proper audit trail in support of collateral and external audits as periodically required of the Division.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee and coordinate all financial activities and personnel in your region
• Implements controls and budgets to mitigate risk and increase return on investments
• Standardize and maintain a system of accounting records and techniques
• Perform month-end closing for financial reporting
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
• Implement financial policies and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree is required
• Experience: 10 years previous experience in accounting management
• Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
• Strong leadership qualities
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented

Compensation:

65,000-80,000

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
