About the role
Ventia is seeking a talented Finance Analyst to join our Telecommunications sector. As a senior member of the project team this role provides support to ensure all financial and commercial issues and risks are identified and managed.

Duties may include

• Provide accurate and timely reporting of financial performance including profitability, cashflow and R&O
• Actively monitor and communicate early warning signs of targets not being met and ensure escalated.
• Conduct monthly reviews of financial results with Senior Analysts and Finance Manager.
• Focusing on net working capital – maximising cash collection and over-claims
• Consistent monitoring, evaluation and reporting of budget and operational performance
• Implement actions to address legal and regulatory requirements and company business standards, process and group policies.

About You

• A bachelors’ degree in business, finance commerce or accounting.
• CA or CPA qualified preferable
• Clear insights to performance based on data – gross margin OH ratios, fixed/variable costs. Etc
• Previous experience in project accounting concepts and ability to link operational and financial performance.
