Our Business Development team is seeking a results orientated and motivated professional to take on the role of a Market Research Analyst. Your role will be to research current and potential new markets, our competitors, latest customer demands and competitive business initiatives and provide strategic insight to further develop our business model.
Duties and Responsibilities
Proactively identifying, sourcing, and cultivating new and existing verticals for BEST to empower our Business Development team
Proactively identifying, sourcing, and cultivating new and existing verticals for BEST to empower our Business Development team
Evaluating and improving sales and marketing strategies, as well as identifying new customers.
Devise and evaluate methods for collecting data (Cold Calling, Surveys, Questionnaires)
Analyze the trends in the market and the BEST’s strategies to identify new opportunities.
Report findings from the strategies implementation, giving insight for improvements to the executive team.
Conducts market research into emerging trends in the industry.
Provide ideas to add value to new verticals and services to increase sales and company revenue.
Develops and implements targeted surveys for the purpose of gathering market information.
Analyze consumer behavior and anticipate market trends to develop solutions to the problems our customers are facing.
Perform competitor analysis to identify areas where BEST can exceed the competition and forge ahead to gain increased market share.
Identify new customers and evaluate the company’s sales strategies to serve the existing customers better.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Operations or Marketing or a related field
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to multitask well
Strong background in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint Preferred
Previous experience in market research
Knowledge of software applications including SAS and SPSS
Experience with various survey tools
