We are looking for a full-time Accounts Receivable Specialist with a positive attitude and the ability to work independently on a variety of different tasks.

You have a professional and proactive approach to team collaboration and working independently, with previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a small/medium size company.

You will report to the Group Financial Controller and work closely with the Business Accounting associate and wider Finance team.

You will:

• Creates invoices according to company practices; submits invoices to customers directly or through suppliers’ portals
• Follow up with clients about late invoices and prompt payment
• Update reports regarding the status of aged receivables
• Research customer discrepancies and past-due amounts with the assistance of your manager and other staff.
• Collaborates with your manager to reconcile accounts receivable on a weekly basis.
• Assists in reconciling transactions and revenue accounts each month.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

You have:

• 1-3 years of relevant work experience
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics or finance

• Previous experience with supplier portals, Coupa and Ariba
• Previous experience with Xero or other accounting platforms
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and obsession with details
• Genius Excel skills
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
