TT Electronics’ Bedlington facility north of Newcastle upon Tyne is the home of two TT Electronics divisions; Sensors & Specialist Components and Power Electronics. Sensors & Specialist Components are leaders in high reliability, high performance and engineered electronic components. Power Electronics provide custom power solutions for safety-critical applications in harsh environments. The team in Bedlington specialises in microcircuit production for the aerospace and defence industries.

Role Overview and Responsibilities:

Working remotely from home and/or the Bedlington office, this role is responsible for the Finance function for one of our UK sites, including;

  • Cash reporting
  • Fixed & intangible asset reporting
  • Lease accounting
  • Accruals & prepayments
  • Payroll reporting
  • Intercompany recharging & reporting
  • VAT returns
  • General ledger reconciliations & transaction postings
  • Prepare, submit and review HFM management accounts for actual monthly data
  • Maintaining management accounting processes
  • Ad-hoc duties as advised by FSC Lead

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes:

The successful candidate must:

  • Have Intermediate / advanced Excel, Power Point and Word skills
  • Have good understanding and working knowledge of accounting and reporting systems and regulatory framework
  • Have excellent problem solving & analytical skills
  • Show the ability to support business planning in a shared service environment
  • Have good communication skills
  • Have the ability to work to strict deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy

Proficiency in multiple ERP systems and experience working in the manufacturing industry would be an advantage
