The Head of Education Programmes and Lifelong Learning is a senior leadership post working in support of the Trusts Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Professional (AHP) 2021 2025 Strategy, along with the Scale Up and Clinical Placement Expansion projects of its innovative, multi-professional career development programme (aka Career Maps Programme). This role will report to the Director of Workforce Development, Education and Research for Corporate Nursing.

The Head of Education Programmes and Lifelong Learning is responsible for the operational leadership of the learning and development, education commissioning and CPD teams. The post holder will have joint responsibility for the delivery of the Trusts education and training strategy, and lead on the implementation of a portfolio of learning design and implementation aligned to Trusts Operational Plan and Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Professional Strategy 2021 2025. This senior leadership role will also lead the alignment and quality management of the Trusts apprenticeship programmes within its Career Map programme of work.
